Today, we’ll be showcasing a few exciting cheese board combinations – complete with suggested beer and wine pairings – to get your creative juices flowing. Let’s dive in!

Assortment A: Budget-friendly combinations
3 platters of 2 cheeses each

Combination 1: The sweet and salty

This platter combines the, aromatic profile of two cheeses, Sir Laurier d'Arthabaska and Cantonnier, for exceptional variety! Best accompanied by a sweet and savoury blend of salami, hot pepper jelly, herbs, fresh fruits (could be raisins), and nuts, this hearty appetizer could be served with a full-bodied IPA beer or a glass of easy-drinking Pinot Noir as a wine pairing.

Combination 2: The gourmand

Cendrillon meets Bleubry in this sublimely tasty cheese platter. Complex flavour combos like prosciutto, cantaloupe, caramelized onion confit, candied almonds, sweet pickles, and fresh herbs are like a carnival for your taste buds! Stronger, more flavourful cheese offerings like this one are best served with a malty Belgian Tripel beer or a sweet Sauterne wine.

Combination 3: The forager

This platter is all about indulgence. Ash-dusted Cendré de Lune cheese and aged Caprano goat cheese are elevated by a multi-dimensional assortment of black forest ham, grapes, mushroom pâté, walnuts, assorted olives, and fresh herbs. Top off the experience by suggesting a classic Pale Ale beer or glass of dry Merlot wine as drink pairings.

Assortment B: The “insider package”
2 platters of 3 cheeses each

Combination 1: The goat & co.

This option features two goat’s milk cheeses – aged Caprano and sharp Cendrillon – alongside earthy Cendré de Lune cheese. Known for their rich flavour and texture profiles, they go well with hearty sides like nuts, prosciutto, salami, fig compote, and hot pepper jelly. Best enjoyed with a glass of white wine like Gewürztraminer or Riesling, or a Witbier as a beer pairing.

Combination 2: The dynamic trio

Salty and creamy Bleubry, fruity Cantonnier, and full-bodied Sir Laurier d'Arthabaska cheeses are brought to life with dry cured sopressata and capicollo, sun-dried tomatoes, fig and walnut compote, mixed berries, almonds, and fresh herbs. Given how many contrasting flavours are packed into this decadent appetizer, there are tons of potential beverage pairings: why not suggest a hazy, fruity IPA or a sweeter Pale Ale on the beer side, or a glass of Pinot Grigio wine?

Assortment C: The complementary duo
One deluxe platter & one 2-cheese platter

Combination 1: The all-dressed

Sometimes, you just need to go all out! This platter includes four of our exceptional cheeses: sharp Cendrillon, full-bodied Sir Laurier d'Arthabaska, fruity Cantonnier, and earthy Cendré de Lune. We suggest rounding them out with hearty, spicy sides like prosciutto, salami, capicollo, fig compote, hot pepper jelly, and bacon jam. To drink, a bolder taste would be best, such as a full-bodied Porto wine or a toasty Brown Ale as a peer pairing.

Combination 2: The savoury

Bleubry cheese’s salty, creamy profile exists in perfect harmony with aged Caprano goat cheese. Accompanied by prosciutto, fresh melon, caramelized onion confit, candied almonds, sweet and/or spicy pickles, and fresh herbs, this full-bodied duo of cheeses calls for a malty Belgian Tripel beer or a glass of sweet Sauterne wine.
