Nashville-Style Chicken Tacos with Brie


Brie cheese is the star of this unique and mouth-watering taco inspiration. Top a warmed tortilla with coleslaw, fried chicken strips, and Brie cheese cut into thick slices. Let the cheese melt thanks to the residual heat of the meat, then drizzle with honey chipotle sauce and top it with sliced pickles. With its creamy texture, the Brie cheese balances the chicken’s spicy flavour and contrasts the crispiness of the breading.

Go one step beyond: Make your own breaded chicken by marinating chicken breasts in a mixture of buttermilk, pickle juice, tabasco sauce, eggs, and salt. Dip the chicken in a mixture of flour, salt, paprika and cayenne pepper. To make them extra crispy, double-coat them with breadcrumbs. After frying the chicken, slice it into strips and coat in a mixture of butter, cayenne pepper, paprika, brown sugar, and salt.

Make your own honey chipotle sauce by combining mayonnaise, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced cilantro, honey, and lime juice.
