Maple‑Bacon Brie Bake with Hot Honey

Warm, melty Canadian Brie is layered with sweet apples, a hint of heat from spices, and the cozy richness of maple‑candied bacon. Ingredients

  • Brie Cheese
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • Pinch Salt & Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 small sprig Fresh Rosemary Sprigs
  • 1-2 tbsp Hot Honey
  • ¼ cup Chopped Pecans
  • 8-10 slices Grilled Ciabatta

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°C.
  2. Place bacon strips on a baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar and chili powder. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, sauté apple slices with cinnamon, maple syrup, and 1 tbsp of oil. Sauté until softened, about 12-15 minutes.
  4. Add rosemary and pecans. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until bubbly, stirring frequently.
  5. Add Brie cheese to a ceramic dish lined with aluminum foil and lightly sprayed with oil.
  6. Transfer the Brie to a tray and top with diced bacon and a rosemary sprig. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Top the Brie with the apple mixture, drizzle with hot honey, and serve.
