Crave-Worthy Vegan Burger


Who said vegan burgers had to be boring? To prepare the patty, mix in a food processor the cooked brown rice, mashed black beans, green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic, tahini, breadcrumbs, chili powder, cumin, salt and hot sauce. Add Plant-Based Mozzarella Flavoured Shreds to the mix. Form your patties once the mixture is uniform and fry them in a pan or on the grill. With this savoury patty, this inspiration is a step above your regular imitation-meat burger.

Plant-Based Mozzarella Flavoured Shreds help bind the ingredients together. Serve on toasted Kaiser buns with some vegan mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled beets, sweet onions, pico de gallo and slices of avocado. Now that’s a vegan option you can be proud of!

A tablespoon of tahini makes a great substitute for an egg in most vegan dishes. You could also add some Plant-Based Mozzarella Flavoured Shreds on top of the patty for even more flavour and eye appeal.
