BBQ Haloumi Skewers

Enhance your barbecue menu with irresistible BBQ Haloumi Skewers! These skewers feature marinated Haloumi cheese paired with a variety of fresh vegetables, offering a delightful blend of Mediterranean flavours.
Haloumi cheese is not just tasty but also versatile and nutritious, serving as a wonderful meat substitute. 


  • 2 each Haloumi Skewers
  • 1 wedge Lemon
  • 50 mlTzatziki
  • 1 pc Tortilla or Pita Bread
  • 4 pc Haloumi Cheese (2 cm cube)
  • 4 pc Baby Zucchini (2 cm cube)
  • 4 each Grape Tomatoes
  • 4 pc Red Bell Pepper (2 cm square)
  • 4 pc Red Onions (2 cm cube)


  • 100 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 50 ml White Wine Vinegar
  • A Pinch Garlic Powder
  • A Pinch Chives and Parsley (chopped)
  • 2 stalks Green Onion


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a shallow dish to prepare the marinade.
  2. Thread the ingredients onto pre-soaked bamboo skewers, alternating them.
  3. Roast the skewers in a hot oven or cook on an open char broiler until the Haloumi is golden brown on all sides and the veggies are cooked through.
  4. Serve with lemon, tzatziki, and toasted tortilla or pita bread.
