Waikiki Ham & Swiss Sliders

As Hawaiian influences are on the rise in the restaurant industry this delicious twist on the classic ham and cheese is sure to attract diners. With savoury ham, Swiss Cheese Slices, and a sweet touch of pineapple, this flavour-packed delight is a perfect addition to your menu for diners looking for a quick and tasty bite for lunch that is delicious and on-trend. 


  • 4 Hawaiian Rolls, connected
  • 4 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 100 g Honey Ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 slices Pineapple


  • 25 g Butter, melted
  • ½ tsp Dijon Mustard
  • ½ tsp Poppy Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ tsp Onion Flakes
  • 1 tsp Parsley, chopped


  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Place the bottom half of the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Layer the ham on the rolls, followed by the cheese.
  4. Put the tops of the rolls over the cheese.
  5. Mix butter, mustard, poppy seeds, dried onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl.
  6. Spread the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover the sandwiches with foil and bake for 15 minutes until the cheese melts. Then, uncover and bake for an extra 3-5 minutes until the tops are lightly browned.
  8. Sprinkle parsley on top, cut into individual sandwiches, and serve immediately with grilled pineapple.
