Italian Sushi Roll

Featuring creamy Burrata cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh arugula wrapped in layers of prosciutto, these bite-sized treats are a perfect summer shareable.

 

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of prosciutto

  • 1 ball of Burrata cheese

  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 cup fresh arugula

  • Olive oil (optional, for drizzling)

  • Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Directions

  1. Drain the burrata cheese and gently pat it dry with a paper towel.
  2. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces.
  3. Lay out a slice of prosciutto on a clean surface.
  4. Place burrata cheese in the centre of the prosciutto slice.
  5. Add a few pieces of chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top of the burrata.
  6. Place a small handful of arugula on top of the tomatoes.
  7. Carefully roll up the prosciutto slice, starting from one end and rolling tightly to form a log.
  8. Repeat with the remaining prosciutto slices and filling ingredients.
  9. Once all the rolls are assembled, use a sharp knife to cut each roll into bite-sized pieces, similar to sushi.
  10. Arrange the Italian sushi rolls on a serving platter, drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic glaze and serve.
