Father’s Day Pizza

This pizza goes above and beyond with Fior di Latte, Parmesan, Goat Cheese and the surprising, sweet kick of hot honey. Ingredients

  • 1 ball Pizza Dough
  • 100 ml Pizza Sauce
  • 100 g Fior di Latte (sliced)
  • 50 g Soft Fresh Goat Cheese Crumbles
  • 25 g Parmesan Cheese Petals
  • 25 ml Hot Honey
  • 50 g Prosciutto Crudo
  • 1 sprig Fresh Basil

Hot Honey

  • 200 ml Liquid Honey
  • 25 ml Cider Vinegar
  • 10 g Chili Flakes

Directions

  1. Simmer the ingredients for the hot honey over low heat for 10 minutes. Strain, cool, and store in a squeeze bottle until ready to use.
  2. Stretch the dough to a roughly 14’’ round shape.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a 1 cm border.
  4. Evenly distribute the sliced Fior di Latte on the pizza, then sprinkle with crumbled Soft Fresh Goat Cheese.
  5. Place the Parmesan petals on top, then bake at 500°F (260°C) for 6-9 minutes until the crust is golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
  6. Once out of the oven, drizzle zigzags of hot honey on top and arrange neat piles of prosciutto crudo.
  7. Slice the pizza into wedges and garnish with basil.
