Cheeseburger Poutine

The classic poutine has been reinvented into a delightful dish by pairing squeaky, milky Cheese Curds with a sharp Old White Cheddar cheese sauce drizzled over crispy fries. This contemporary take on the beloved Canadian classic will elevate your menu to a whole new level. The combination of gooey melted cheese and crunchy fries creates a perfect balance of textures and tastes. This upgraded poutine variation is sure to satisfy residents craving a rich and cheesy meal.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Fries
  • 200 g Ground Beef
  • 15 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • A pinch Steak Spice
  • 75 g Cheese Curds
  • 75 g Old White Cheddar Cheese
  • 100 ml Poutine Gravy
  • 25 g Spicy Pickles (diced)
  • 50 g Roasted Tomatoes
  • A pinch Green Onions

Roasted Tomatoes

  • 200 g Tomatoes (thin slices)
  • 25 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 10 g Italian Spice Blend
  • 15 g Salt & Pepper

Directions

  1. Toss the quartered tomato with olive oil, herbs, and spices, then spread them evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in a hot oven until the tomatoes dehydrate and lightly brown.
  2. Warm up the poutine gravy, mix in the Old White Cheddar cheese, and let it melt into the sauce.
  3. Cook ground beef in olive oil with steak spice until fully cooked.
  4. Prepare the fries following the standard procedure, then mix them with Cheese Curds and a pinch of salt. Arrange them on a serving plate.
  5. Layer the fries with ground beef, roasted tomatoes, and spicy pickles.
  6. Finish by topping with cheese gravy and garnishing with green onions.
